French Riviera Flotilla Holidays

The French Riviera certainly is the playground of the rich and famous, it is also a fantastic sailing area, and overlooked as a flotilla destination until now, despite being more reasonable in price than you would think.

There have been bareboat and skippered charters promoted in this area for many years so it was a natural progression to offer a flotilla here. With its national parks and unspoiled offshore islands, historic towns and glitzy resorts, plus great shore-side facilities and arguably the best cuisine in the world, there are a host of good reasons to sail here.

Choose From Two Evocative Routes

St Tropez and Cassis

You have a choice of two superb one week itineraries which can be combined for a wonderful two week holiday.

Our first week explores westwards including Bandol, Cassis, The Isle Frioul and the spectacular Calanques coastal national park.

For our second week we head east towards St. Tropez with Bormes Les Mimosas, Cavalaire and the offshore islands of Port Cros and Porquerolles to tempt you.

Level 2

  • More challenging sailing
  • Ideal for families
  • Line of sight navigation
  • Gentle to fresh breezes
  • Perfect to combine with a beach holiday
  • Skippered charter option available

The Weather

The Cote D’Azur is a world famous summer destination, and the weather is very predictable during the season. Blue skies and warm waters are the norm, with temperatures in the low to mid 20s during May and September, with the temperatures rising to the high 30s in the height of the summer. Winds are light to moderate, ranging from force 2 to 6, with occasional summer winds blowing from the North in greater strength.

Note
